Fresh, coastal, summer version. Very clean, less sweet, more Santorini hotel bar.
Ingredients
— 🍸 THE BUILD
— 2 oz gin
— 1 oz vodka
— 1/2 oz dry vermouth or Lillet Blanc
— 2 drops saline solution or tiny pinch of sea salt
— Lemon twist
— Optional: cucumber ribbon
Prep
— Chill a coupe glass.
— If using cucumber, peel a long thin ribbon with a vegetable peeler.
Method
— Combine gin, vodka, vermouth, and saline in a shaker with ice.
— Shake for 12 seconds.
— Double strain into the chilled coupe.
— Express the lemon twist. Add the cucumber ribbon if using.
Chef's Note: Saline solution (4 parts water, 1 part salt, dissolved) opens up the aromatics in a way that a pinch of salt can't quite match. Worth making a small bottle to keep at the bar.
