Lighter aperitif version. Shake the base first, strain, then top gently with Prosecco.
Ingredients
— 🍸 THE BUILD
— 1.5 oz vodka
— 3/4 oz fig syrup
— 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
— Prosecco to top
— 🍂 GARNISH
— Fresh fig slice
Prep
— Chill a coupe or champagne flute.
— Slice a fig for garnish.
Method
— Combine vodka, fig syrup, and lemon in a shaker with ice.
— Shake for 10 seconds.
— Strain into the chilled coupe.
— Pour Prosecco gently down the side of the glass — don't stir.
— Garnish with the fig slice.
Chef's Note: A dry Prosecco works better than sweet — the fig provides sweetness and you don't want it to compete.
