Ingredients
— 1 lb ground beef
— ½ lb ground pork
— 1 small onion, grated
— 2 garlic cloves, minced
— ½ cup breadcrumbs soaked in milk
— 1 egg
— 2 tbsp fresh mint, chopped
— 1 tbsp fresh oregano or 1 tsp dried
— ½ tsp ground cumin
— Salt and black pepper
— Olive oil for frying
— 1 cup thick Greek yogurt
— 2 tbsp fresh mint, finely chopped
— 1 garlic clove, grated
— Juice of ½ lemon
— Salt
Prep
— Combine all meatball ingredients.
— Mix well and form into small rounds — 4cm diameter.
— Refrigerate 20 minutes.
— Make yogurt: mix all yogurt ingredients, refrigerate.
